Agile methods face strong headwinds in state government – and that’s not surprising in organizations that are conservative by nature, wary of wasting precious taxpayer resources, pressed for time, short of staff, and comforted by policies that are enforced by exhaustive step-by-step procedures.
In such an environment, how do you even start the conversation about Agile development?
And how do you get from early conversations and wishful thinking to a true, lasting, healthy Agile culture?
In this session, we’ll talk about what we’ve done over the past few years at Virginia State Police to grow an Agile culture, and how we’re working to sustain it.
